Go behind the scenes of Minnesota elections with Melanie Hazelip, Voter Outreach Director for the Minnesota Secretary of State, and Rabbi Jason Rodich. We’ll learn about election security, voting rights, what to expect at the polls, and how our elections work.
Melanie Hazlip is Voter Outreach Director for the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State. She works to make voting accessible to all Minnesotans and partners with advocates and community organizations across the state. Before joining the Secretary of State’s office, she spent years working and volunteering in voter outreach and civic engagement, including with the League of Women Voters of Minnesota.

David Schultz is a University Professor at Hamline University, where he teaches in the Departments of Political Science, Environmental Studies, and Legal Studies and holds the Winston Folkers Endowed Distinguished Faculty Chair. A four-time Fulbright Scholar, he has written extensively on American politics and election law and is a frequent commentator for local, national, and international media.
