Fill a Kitchen Waste Basket for Emerson Village

Emerson Village is a deeply affordable housing development in Northeast Minneapolis that Temple Israel congregants helped build. Residents are moving in and need help filling their kitchens. Below is a list of needed items; we hope to fill ten baskets. If you can fill one on your own, that’s great, but you can also add to one with any of the items listed below. In either event, if you’d like to donate, please contact Rabbi Ricky Kamil to arrange a pick-up and donation.

Fill a 13-gallon kitchen waste basket and a large tote bag with:

• Dishrack

• Flatware (eight settings)

• Spatula and other cooking utensils

• Can opener

• Hand mixer

• Mixing bowl

• Pizza cutter

• Baking sheet

• Pot holders

• Kitchen scissors

• Notepad/pen

• Extension cord

• Batteries

Temple Israel Housing Group is looking for volunteers to help our community partner Align Minneapolis. Welcome guests and serve a community meal for our low-income and unhoused neighbors.
